![]() The Scholarship Committee began its search earlier this year, seeking students with graduating GPAs of 2.5 or greater, and must demonstrate their involvement in school, extra-curricular and work-related activities, and are required to submit an essay describing “What a College Education Means to Me.”Ĭongratulations and good luck to these outstanding students. These students also receive an award during the graduation ceremony. In addition, graduating students who achieved four years of perfect attendance are recognized. Margaret Albrecht will pursue studies in Music Education.Īiden Bean plans to follow a course of study in Engineering.Ĭaesar Plaszewski is majoring in Health Sciences, while focusing on the Pre-Physician Assistant track. Each year, Lockport Township High School District 205 recognizes graduating students with a cumulative GPA of 4.0 for all four years. Krzysztof Noga plans to follow a career in Nursing. A $1,000 scholarship was sent to the institutions where these students will continue their education in the fall. The scholarship winners are Krzysztof Noga from Romeoville High School, and Margaret Albrecht, Aiden Bean and Caesar Plaszewski from Lockport Township High School. This is the 18 th year of Lockport Township Scholarship Awards. The rising cost of education is a concern for many area families and the Township is proud to be able to offer some assistance to these outstanding scholars.
